Dear [your boss or supervisor],

As you know, I feel engaged and optimistic about my role here. One of the things I value is that the company (and you) have expressed an interest in my growth. Thank you. I would like to pursue additional training to help me further improve and develop my skills.

In particular, I seek to become a more effective team player and people leader in my role so that I can contribute as much as possible to our vibrant culture and generate strong employee engagement.

I have researched several options and found one I think will suit me well. In searching, I have prioritized the following specifics:

The program I’ve found is called The Leading People Program™, offered by Moe Carrick and her team at Moementum, Inc.

The Leading People Program™️ trains leaders to bring out the best in their people. It is all about thriving people and powerful results, which I knew we both want. Moe and her team do this this by providing practical, research-based guidance for leading people—I’m especially excited that their guidance is tailored to me and our organization. I’d walk away with a robust individual assessment of my leadership strengths and weaknesses and a clear path for improving my capacity into the future.

The truth is, I feel my skills at managing are great but I want to grow the strength and resilience of our team. This seems particularly important as we work to recover our equilibrium in the post-COVID workplace.

Moe Carrick’s reputation as an expert on leading people and engaging employees is renowned and she facilitates this program personally herself.

The cost of the program is $5,500 while the outcome I imagine for myself is on par with more expensive 1:1 coaching options and other programs I’ve seen.

By providing this opportunity, I believe we’ll continue to get awesome results while also building a dynamic and cohesive team culture.

I appreciate your consideration of my request for development.

If you’d like, we can schedule a follow-up meeting to review my request and answer any questions you may have.

Enrollment for the LPP happens every month and I want to start as soon as possible.
